As we reported last week, the nationwide IRS system issues unfortunately increased the IRS backlog of orders and elongated their turnaround times. On your behalf, we have been escalating and continuing to work with our senior IRS contacts on expediting their recovery. In response, the IRS has been mobilizing additional resources and investing in overtime. They have committed to return to “normal” turnaround timeliness by early next week.
